Matt Olevich

Manager of Academy of Self Defense since 2008.  Instructor since 2003.

Matt has been studying martial arts since the age of 14 at Academy of Self Defense.  He received his Kenpo black belt in 2007.

Matt enjoys in-depth learning of martial arts, which also makes him a great teacher.  He has intensely studied each of the art forms the school offers.  In 2002, he was introduced to Systema and has completed multiple seminars with Vladimir Vasiliev, Martin Wheeler, Brad Scornavacco and Al McLuckie. 

Matt began his passion for MMA in 2003 and was certified in Warrior Arts by Al McLuckie in 2009.  Matt is dedicated to teaching all aspects of martial arts including Kenpo Karate, Kids Classes, MMA, Grappling, Kickboxing, Systema and Kettlebell.
